Digital Scotland

Helping Scotland become a world class digital nation

The Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband programme aims to provide fibre broadband infrastructure to those areas of Scotland not currently covered by the commercial roll-out and both schemes aim to provide 95% of premises in Scotland by the end of 2017.

Creative Edge were awarded this tender after competitive pitching process. We were tasked with working with some existing branding which had some limitations to rolling out as a marketing brand.

We slowly evolved the brand look and feel to give the marketing team at Digital Scotland a comprehensive and robust brand tool kit to implement across all their current and future marketing collateral.

We evolved the original brand icons redrawing a whole new set to give a more contemporary look, reflecting the way broadband could be used.

We established a distinctive and flexible project brand language, distinctive colour palette and photographic look and feel. We worked across both print and digital collateral delivering enewsletters, a facebook christmas campaign, banners and printed marketing.

"Vitamin Cornwall (Creative Edge) are an agile, responsive agency with a clever design team who have provided a range of services for the programme over the last 3 years. From the design of a programme brochure, to the production of case studies and fact sheets we have created a collateral store which is able to evolve as the project does. They demonstrate an understanding of the objectives of our project and are sympathetic to our challenges within it, resulting in appropriate creatives."
